I am so exhausted. Work was hard today. And mean.

This morning, I was feeling blah already and didn't even want to go out of the house. Oh, but first, the best part of last night was - our heater is broken! It's friggin' cold inside! I'm wearing socks in bed and have two blankets! And it's still cold! :-(

Well, of course I got there anyway. The boss, R. wasn't in first, so it was just me and H. She said I should bring the table out, in front of the store where we put some cheap games and "older" books, like remaining stock. And I was like "well, if we get weather like we had yesterday, it might not be such a good idea". Because it was raining the whole day yesterday, and it was stormy. But she looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about. So I just did as she said and brought everything out. She yelled after me that she'll be right behind to help me. Alright then... But well, she didn't come, so I did it on my own.

In the meantime, the boss R. arrived and saw me bringing the stuff out, but only when I was finished she said "we should bring it back in, it's supposed to rain". WTF?? o.O Just when I was finished! Well, it really started to rain a bit and I could bring it back in - again, all by myself. *sigh*

Then, we got new goods, and I already thought that the 15 boxes and the 13 from Thursday and Friday were much, but oh no - today we got 27!!! 27!!!!! o.O And guess what - I could unpack almost all on my own! They started to help, but somehow stopped while unpacking. Don't know why. Then it was almost time for my break and I continued after it. First, I thought that R. and H. might have finished it together while I was on my break, but oh, what was I thinking? Everything had remained the way I left it. *rolleyes*

What a day! I was so glad when it was 6 pm and I could leave. Everything hurts and I'm tired. I'm so glad it's already Wednesday again tomorrow. And then I have to rememeber to call the cinema to book tickets for Saturday for New Moon. *eek*

Btw, vampires... yesterday, I saw a commercial for The Vampire Diaries on tv - it'll start here on January 20th!!! :-D

I also finally started watching my season 4 dvds of The O.C. Wanted to do that for like two months. It had been sitting next to the tv for that long and finally I started. And oh, I realized again how much I missed Ben McKenzies arms. ;-) I think I also need to watch Southland finally. hehe

Oh fuck my life...

I turned the laptop off, wanted to go to bed an hour ago, but then I remembered that there's a new cop show on tv with Danny Nucci, so that cheered me up just a little bit.

Then I turned the laptop on again because I remembered a game on [info]definitely_dead which was supposed to be starting at around midnight (our time). So, I updated my flist every few minutes, but no game was showing... and I started to wonder... Then I looked on the site again - and found out it's only starting next Friday! *facepalm* I cannot believe it.

Clearly a sign that I should just go to bed, I guess. *sigh*

But oh look, Stephen Dorff on Blade. Another gleam of hope. I love this guy. Also Matt Schulze, whose 10 seconds in the movie I enjoyed as well before. ;-)

And well, now I'll turn the laptop off again, after only a few minutes and simply go to bed I guess. I was so looking forward to the weekend and now it's almost over and I just wish that I could turn back time.

Grrr... what the hell is wrong with LJ again? For a few days now, I'm having problems posting lj cuts. It's weird.

Maybe I'm already gonna see New Moon tomorrow! Yay! Today, I read in the newspaper that there's a double feature at our local cinema, showing both Twilight and New Moon. First, I thought that was only happening at another cinema, but then it was sold out there. So, later I'll call our cinema and ask if it's really happening and then tomorrow... yay! :-D

But omg, first the shock - every link I tried, said that the file is not available, and I thought "you're joking, right?!" until I finally found one that worked, thank god!

... Just quoting from "The Covenant", which I'm gonna watch any minute. Oh Kyle... *gg*

I'm avoiding anything about Supernatural on my flist, but it's very hard if banners are not put behind a cut! Grrr... But I closed my eyes as well as I could and skipped those posts. Downloading the episode right now! Omg, can't wait!!!

Work was... ok today. My boss had the day off, so there was another woman, couldn't have been older than me, in for help. But she was... strange. I hadn't been in the store for five minutes and I overheard when she said to her colleague that she'd like to rearrange the books and kids corner, with the games. Uhm, well, she's only in for today and tomorrow and then she's back at her usual store where she works, but of course, she has to rearrange our shelves and everything because she likes it better that way? Right. *rolleyes* I don't know, I didn't really like her so much. I mean, I don't know her, but you know, there's this feeling you get when you meet a person, and whether you like them or not, you know that within the first seconds. And yeah, I didn't like her. :-\ Well, she'll be gone when I return on Monday, so it shouldn't be my concern, I guess.

But you know what a dangerous things is while working at a book store? Yeah, finding new interesting books! Oh, so many books to read and no time! I have to remember to put them at least on my wishlist, so I don't forget completely about them.

Still reading Twilight, too. And I'm still smiling like a crazy person when reading it. Oh, it's killing me. The other night, I dreamed of Edward - again. *g* Call me crazy, I don't mind. :-P

Happy US people, New Moon starts today, right? We have to wait one more long week! First, I wanted to go to the pre-premiere on Wednesday, but it's probably gonna be the weekend in the end, I think. SO.CAN'T.WAIT.!!!!!!!

Well, what are you gonna do on the weekend? Tomorrow morning, I'm going shopping a bit, but then it's really just weekend for me. I want to read and watch some tv, maybe even a good movie, we'll see.

*hi*
Much to do at work today. This morning, we got 15!!! new boxes with books! Plus one package with cds. It took me until after 2 pm to finish unpacking everything. But oh.so.good unpacking new Nora Roberts books and there was also the 2-disc special edition of Harry Potter 6 dvd, which comes out tomorrow. And it has a really cool extra that comes with it - pins of the crests of the Hogwarts houses! Looks really cool! I already got [info]deviltrap to order her copy. hehe

Then my boss told me again that she really likes it how I talk to the customers and help them and all. And that I'm very attentive in the job. Sounds good, doesn't it? :-) And yes, I really, really like talking to the customers and it feels so good when I can actually help them. Just very different from an office job, but I like it so far.

I think tomorrow will be much work, as well, as above mentioned that the new Harry Potter dvd comes out, and a few customers already asked for it before. So, they'll definitely be back tomorrow, I guess.

But then when I come home - Supernatural - The Vampire Diaries - WEEKEND!!! And I think I have to go shopping on Saturday. Still need a gift for Amalia's daughter and then I already wanted to start to check on my Christmas stuff, like that I have enough cards and stuff. Yesterday, I saw one of these coca cola commercials with the Christmas trucks, you know? And I think that felt a bit like it's Christmas time now. *g* Good times.

Btw, Supernatural, saw a promo before and OMG!!! Looks soooo good!!! Can't wait! I will so have to avoid my flist until after I saw it myself.

House 5.20 - Simple Explanation )

My day was slow today. Not much happened. Spent most of the day at the storage place, organizing cds etc. And then something happened and I wouldn't be surprised to get a cold soon. Well, I sat down on the carpet for it, because it was just too much standing or crouching down for hours. And well, hours later, I wondered why my butt was wet all of a sudden. And for a second, I really thought "Omg, what did I do??" o.O But no, it wasn't me. I noticed that the whole floor was wet, too. It was raining the whole day and I guess somehow, the water must've come in through the floor, through the carpet and through my jeans. It was embarrassing! And cold!! I tried to dry it somehow but it was still wet when I finally got home three hours later. It's been a loooong afternoon, I'm telling you.

But what was nice this morning was that we got a lot of new stuff for the store, also the new Harry Potter movie, which will only come out here on Friday. But I already unpacked it and had a look at it. Was cool. ;-)

Season finale of 24 already tonight. :-(

Ordered from Amazon before. My mother wanted something for her sister's birthday, and it reminded me that I wanted to give myself something for going to that stupid ibs, so I ordered a True Blood calendar for 2010, cds (Death Cab For Cutie) and dvds (Supernatural 4.2, One Tree Hill season 5). :-)

Btw, finally got a hold of the job center. First, of course, they couldn't connect me with the woman in charge and I said "ok, it's almost too late today anyway, I have to leave soon..." - but then she called back anyway. *rolleyes* So, I asked if I still needed to write the applications while doing the internship and she was like "of course! I think it's not too much to ask...", oh well, thanks! :-\ Well, I told her about my working hours and that there's not much time to do the application stuff, so she finally said that I could leave it until the internship's over. That's something, at least. I mean, that's what I tried to tell her the whole time! That I first want to see what might come out of the internship. Oh, these people...

I have to say, although it is Monday, the day went by fast. And omg, I did the magic thing again. On the weekend, I kept thinking about the internship and I thought to myself that maybe I'll have to look through all the cds and dvds and check prices etc. And guess what I did today! ;-)

Have I mentioned lately how much I dislike Sendspace? Because I do. It always works so slow for me.

So, downloaded Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries and probably will watch both later. At the moment, I'm working on some things for [info]definitely_dead. Somebody from my flist member there, too?

As much as I like the internship so far, I also don't want the weekend to be over already. I wanted to do much but didn't manage to do it all. I really need to start with my lists for Christmas shopping, cards etc. It's not that far away.

And tomorrow, I need to try again to contact the job center. They wrote that I should continue writing applications and all, but when?? I'm gone the whole day until 6:30 pm and then I really don't want to do anything at all anymore. I already called them and tried to explain but they somehow don't really understand I think. So, it seems I have to do three things simultaneously: continue writing applications for the job center, doing the internship that ibs arranged for me and giving 100% at the internship, because I also don't want to disappoint these people. But no, not gonna happen. I really have to sort that out with the job center. I at least want to finish the internship and see what comes out of it. But so far, it's been only four days, and you can't really tell from that short time.

Plus, omg, they are so stupid! I told them to call me at home before 8:30 am, so we could talk before I leave the house. But no, they called me on my cell for like 5 times, which I don't have with me while working, of course. And when I checked it during my break, there was no number shown, so I couldn't even call back. *rolleyes* But I'm pretty sure it was them, because no one else calls me on the cell usually. It's so annoying!

Omg! I completely forgot about the new Supernatural episode!!! Shame.On.Me. *facepalm* But somehow my internet is running slow tonight, so I'll download and watch tomorrow.

Been to the cinema tonight. My friend Irina and I watched 2012 which was really cool! And I kept thinking and imagining "what if...". o.O

Saw a trailer for New Moon in German for the second time - still weird to hear the German voices. First, because I'm used to watch everything in English and second, because I now know the persons behind the voices. hehe Only two more weeks and then... *eek*!!! So can't wait!!

Amalia's already home again. :-( After work (I think I can call the internship work, right?), I drove to her parents' place and omg, her daughter - the cutest thing ever!!! She's crawling now, which might be just the most adorable thing I've ever seen! :-D She'll turn 1 in about one week. Oh my, where has this year been?

Oh, question for Rogue Events con knowers - if I have the highest ticket available which includes photo sessions, like the Diamond Package for Asylum Europe includes 6 photo ops, I don't need to buy others, except I would want more, right?? o.O

Wasn't online yesterday. ... Yeah, let that sink in.

The internship is going quite good so far. Only three days, yet, but I like it. And it feels good when I can really help people. My boss already told me yesterday that she really likes that I'm so open to the customers and at least try to help, although I can't know everything after only a few days. So, yeah, it's fun. :-)

But, oh, my feet hurt! So do my hands and wrists! Some of the books are quite heavy. I'm standing and walking the whole day. Only have an one hour break and that's the only time I'm sitting down. And I'm so not used to this, but I guess I will be soon.

Today, it was a quiet day. Not much to do. Also, I don't need to work on Saturday and help with the inventory, because they have enough people for help, so yay for the weekend. Plus, Amalia's here, we talked before and tomorrow I'll go see her, even though it'll be only for a short moment. On Saturday, she'll be on her way home already. :-(

Hopefully, on the weekend I'll have a bit more time for LJ etc.

So, this was my first day at the internship:

Got there at 9:20, they open at 9:30 - nice time, isn't it? I even could sleep one hour longer than when I had to go to this job center thing. ;-)

First, I got shown around, where everything was etc., then we opened the store and a delivery man came already and brought some new books. And that was the first thing I did, unpacking them, putting different stickers on and sorting them into the shelves, which was not so difficult as I first thought. Everything's well organized, and I could live out my ocd. LOL

The first things I had in my hands were Twilight and Breaking Dawn. hehe And in another box, there was Zach Quinto looking at me - the Star Trek dvd. I can't really complain having to look at this all day. ;-)

Morning was over quite quickly, I thought, then I had a break for one hour which I spent in the office there, eating and reading a bit, of course. ;-) Another woman who works there part-time, once lived in a village near my place and she couldn't believe it when I told her where I'm from. And I think she mentioned something that she was married to a guy who is also related to two guys I went to school with, or something. It was funny though when it came up. The world really is small.

Next Saturday, the 14th, they are doing the inventory and asked if I could come, too. They could need any help. But she wasn't sure if that was alright with ibs, so I called "my guy" there and he said it was ok, but then I can take another day off, either this week or next week then. Yay to that! LOL

It's nice to spend the day with real work again. I have the feeling, even though I didn't do sooo much, yet, that I did something useful, and the woman there, my boss so to speak, mentioned a few times that she's glad I'm there to help, and I don't think she'd just say it to please me, or something.

Also sold my first book today! Well, I didn't actually sell it myself, as I didn't handle the cash register, but there was a woman looking for childrens books, so I showed her the corner where they were and as I didn't know the books myself, I just took a book from the shelf randomly and she was like "oh yeah, I like that even more than the one I have in my hands" and bought it. haha

What felt weird today, though, was that I didn't see my family all day. Just in the morning, then I left, came home at around 6:30 pm, ate something and now I'm in my room watching tv. I think my mother was a bit sad about this, because we're not used to it. But well, it's a change, right? Changes can be good.

Oh, just watched the first episode of each, Friday Night Lights and Glee, and help me, help me, help me - I liked it both!!!

FNL - Riggins at the beginning: "I just like to hurt people." and I'm like, "Omg... I think I like him already." LOL
First I thought it was just ok, but the ending was really good.

Glee - The same. First I thought it wasn't that special, but I really liked all the singing parts and it made me wanna sing, too. *g*

I don't know if I'd told you already, but I joined another -land comm. Yeah, headdesk, right? ;-) LOL It's for True Blood, [info]definitely_dead, and I'm on Team Fangtasia (hello? World, today you have been good to me!

I have an internship! At a book store/publishing house. And it's not so far away from my place, only like 20 minutes by car. :-D This morning, again I so wasn't in the mood for going to this job center thing ibs, and already before 9 am I had the talk with the job coach. He asked me what I did so far and I told him what I would be interested in and he said I should give him a couple of days and he would come up with something. He mentioned that my knowledge and skills are not a problem, though my lack of job experience is. Hell, I'm only 24, I can't have 10 years of experience! *rolleyes*

Anyway, I didn't expect him to come up with something so quickly. But already three hours later, our group leader came to me, had some papers ready and told me they might have this internship and I should go there right away to meet the woman there. I have to admit, I was kinda nervous, but I packed my stuff, called my father and then we went there. I had never been there before, nor had I ordered from that publishing house before, but I heard of it. And the woman was real nice and only after like two to three minutes she said "Yes, I think we should try it." I left her all the papers which she'll read through tonight and tomorrow we can fill out the contract! :-D

I'm so surprised! And I think this can really be a good opportunity to escape my daily grind I have now. The internship is for four weeks and will end on December 8th. After that, we'll see if I can stay there, maybe even in a full-time job. Or if she wants to get rid of me again, or maybe I realize that it's not my wish to work there. But I'll only find out if I try, right? So, it starts tomorrow then. I'm excited. And happy. :-) No more of that boring ibs! At least not for the next four weeks!

Today was weird again, though. First, half the class was missing, probably sick, and then we just worked more on our applications. Again, this guy told me to put color and pictures into my CV. I have never done this before, I mean pictures and color... Weird. o.O But I did as he said to satisfy him.

Well, wish me luck! Will tell you tomorrow evening how my first day was. I have to work until 6 pm, which seems long, but I think it won't be that bad as I'm surrounded by books and dvds. hehe Already spotted the Twilight dvd in a corner. LOL

I think I should go to bed real soon, but I really don't want it to be Monday again. *sighs*

In the beginning, I thought getting up early, around 6 am, would be the hard part, though actually it isn't, I'm surprised myself. But it's just that I think I'm not doing much useful stuff, so that's what I don't like about the whole thing.

Ok, I guess it's just another post about me whining. Ignore me.

Didn't do much tonight, but wrote a quick drabble for [info]supernatural100 and watched Criminal Minds 4.10 - Brothers In Arms )

My aunt left. I miss her already. Really too bad that we only see each other once or twice a year. I love her much. I think she's my favorite relative. Funny and always laughing. It's nice to have her around.

My other aunt's birthday was nicer than I thought. I even got lots of compliments on how nice I looked, which I'm so not used to, but it felt nice.
Maybe the alcohol helped making the evening nice, too. LOL And I saw a cute guy, though he's three years younger than I am and I'm not sure if we're related. :-P Haven't seen him in... yeah, I think like 15 years? It was weird seeing some people that I hadn't seen in such a long time.

But oh my, where did the weekend go again?? I don't want it to be Monday already. :-( Don't want to go to that job center thing. It's so boring, and I really need to do other important things at home. But every day when I get home, I'm too exhausted to start something. I know it would also be like this if I had a "real" job again, but then I'd also be really doing something useful. Which reminds me, I also need to finish some applications because on the 20th, I have to report back to the job center again. *sigh*

Merlin was really good again. I'm falling for it more with every episode. Is the new Knight Rider really just stealing storylines from movies? Again, I noticed that the story reminded me of a mix of Transporter/Crank. o.O

Just a quick, short entry today.

Finally weekend!! And first week of that job center thing is over! Yay. Didn't have the talk with the job coach today, he wasn't in. So, probably next week then. Maybe I should ask if they have any jobs available there. Would be easy to spend the days there I think... Seems like they don't have much to do.

So, I think I only spent my morning with working on my application, which we do like every hour, every day, went online and checked my mails - and chatted with my brother! Suddenly, a window popped open, saying "Aren't you supposed to work?". LOL Had a hard time trying not to laugh out loud. :-D

The people are really nice there, which surprised me the most, I think. Though, I'm glad it's weekend now. But will be a bit stressful maybe, when my aunt is coming tomorrow. I hope I can watch my shows later or Sunday at the latest! SO need to see Supernatural. I've been lmao only by reading comments (though no spoilers!!) about it! Can't wait!

Thank god it's almost weekend! And my first week at ibs will be over. Wohoo! Though, 11 more weeks doesn't really sound any better. But what I found out today is that the people at ibs are a little more friendly and helpful than the people at the actual job center. Today, I had a nice talk to the group leader and he said positive things about me, which I also could use to pimp my application. So, that wasn't all that bad. Actually, that whole thing isn't as bad as I imagined it first, but it's just sooooo damn long and boring! Only in the mornings would have been enough if you ask me. But like it is now, the whole day is just wasted.

Tomorrow, I have an appointment with a job coach. Also at that place. Just a short talk about my qualifications, I think. And I think everyone in our group has to do that. I noticed that each day one has to go there, so...

And I like our group. I only know these people for four days now, but I like them all. Everyone is real nice and it's fun talking to them.

I am so tired right now!! Almost didn't sleep at all last night! Oh what a night! I'm getting the shivers already just thinking about it... So, I was watching Harper's Island and suddenly, I hear a thudding sound behind me. First, I thought it was something from the wood, because my whole room is made of wood, you know, the floor, ceiling and walls. But I turn around and on the floor, between the cable of my laptop charger, I see something moving... o.O I'm just like "Jesus! Oh fuck!", throw everything off me, like the blanket and my notes which I'm making while watching tv, jump out of the bed, don't know where to go first, what to grab, so I put on my shoes first - if it intended to flee - grabbed this super killing spray and a fly flap and go looking for it. OF COURSE!!! it's a HUGE!!!!! black spider, just climbing from behind the charger and in my direction. I hit it, scream and then I have dead spider parts all over the floor and the heater!!! Ewwwww!!!!!!!!

I'm like a maniac when it's about spiders, you have to know (those of you who didn't know yet) and so this was very, very hard for me! I started to panic a bit although it was obviously dead, but omg! I started looking into each and every corner for more, but there weren't - thank.god.! In the meantime, Harper's Island was still on and of course super thrilling but I missed some of it! Grrr... When it was over, I was still a bit not me, still thinking about that ugly dead thing lying there. I managed - without touching it of course - to put it on the fly flap and threw it out the window. I was sure that I wasn't going to sleep a minute that night!

When I told my parents about it, of course, my mother just laughed at me (haha yeah, very funny, my tears came from laughing, too) and my father just mentioned that I'm sick and that I should see a psychiatrist, because my behaviour isn't normal. Why does my family has to be like that? They know exactly that I just can't stand these creatures and that I - above all - don't want them in my room, nor near me! I mean, that thing almost hit me!!! I would have screamed my lungs out!

So I had a hard time sleeping that night. Considered sleeping on the couch, but that wouldn't have changed much, so I spent like an hour searching my room for more things, then I went to bed, so not relaxed and I just didn't really sleep. Call me crazy if you want but that just freaks me out, so much!!!
