Happy things of the day:

Oh, the rewatch was great again! We didn't post as many comments as last time ("only" around 900) but .gifs were posted and there was a lot of Brad and Nate and Brad/Nate love going on, and omg, I'm so blaming the girls from the comm (yeah, YOU!) for planting these thoughts and images in my head, so that I actually came up with a short Brad/Nate slash fic! SLASH!!! NEVER EVER have I written slash before! And then about Generation Kill! I never thought that I would even write a Gen fic about it, because I thought it was weird, as it's based on real persons, you know? So, I guess I'm the one who's suprised the most! My, oh my... what this fandom does to me! (But I'm glad I can say that Alex has been my first for one thing, at least *coughcough*)

Then - Gossip Girl! Finally, season 2 started!

Dan, the playboy! Tststs... And Chuck doesn't seem to have changed over the summer, but aw, he brought flowers for Blair - and she brought a new guy!

Awwww, Chuck's look when he sees that heart-needle thingie on James' sweater! But THEN she takes it off, yay for Chuck/Blair!?

Chuck refers to James as "The Untalented Mr. Ripley". LOL

Loved it when Serena kissed Nate and Dan watched the scene and was jealous and kinda angry and giving her a bad conscience about it. And THEN two girls appear who made out with Dan and then Serena's like "there's an explanation of course...". ;-)

Dan without a shirt - nice! ;-) And him and Serena back together - cute.

James = Marcus! And he's a Lord! Oh, Chuck's face when he finds out!

Blair: Three words, eight letters, say it and I'm yours.
Chuck: I... ...

And then there was abyssinia who showed me this site and on that site is also this following .gif. And we both were wondering from which movie that is. Maybe someone from my all-knowing flist knows?? And it is Alex, really, right? Not that we're drooling over a strange guy, mistakenly. ;-)

HOTNESS! You've been warned!

Lord, have mercy on me! *thud*

Oh, and I was in the mood for movies today, so I rewatched Dawn of the Dead and Shall We Dance? That, because I just found out that Stark Sands is in it (yeah, why didn't I know that?), so I really had to rewatch it. *g* I have it on dvd and didn't realize... huh... Was really nice. Both, Stark and the movie. Haven't seen it in a long time. And then I played the director's commentary over Stark's scenes and the director mentioned that he thinks it's a pity that Stark wasn't in it more. :D I would've liked that, too.

Oscars later! I'll watch. Got nothing better to do. ;-)

You cannot resist the pull of Brad/Nate. Embrace it. Especially embrace the glorious Starsgard chemistry because it's just UNF :D *has no shame*

LOL, Stark was so adorkable in SWD (haven't gotten to DotD yet):

GO GEEKY WHITE BOY GO *dies laughing*
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:35 pm (UTC)
Oh man, yes, I am embracing it! LOL It really is hard to resist.

haha Yeah, I loved that scene so much! *g*
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:44 pm (UTC)
I too wish that Stark's character had had a bigger part. He was so qt <3

(I get so much secondhand embarrassment from that dancing, especially because I bet that Stark actually does know how to dance irl)
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:48 pm (UTC)
Can there ever be enough of him, and/or Alex? I think not. *g*

Mmhhh... just imagining him dancing... *dreams* I mean real dancing. LOL
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:50 pm (UTC)
Omg, I want to see him do ballroom or something now -- or, omg, my favorite dance style EVAR, hip-hop. Stark breakdancing would pretty much complete me.
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:51 pm (UTC)
Alright - you dance with Stark, and I take Alex for a waltz... ooohhh, sweet dreams are made of this... *g*
Mar. 8th, 2010 02:55 am (UTC)
Nah, I bet he doesn't know hip-hop. I could teach him, now that's a dream *grin*
Mar. 8th, 2010 02:55 am (UTC)
Oh, we definitely would have fun with the boys! :D
Mar. 8th, 2010 02:56 am (UTC)
"Now Stark, it's all about being loose in the hips..."

Wooo lawd, I like my imagination.
Mar. 8th, 2010 02:58 am (UTC)
I like your imagination too! LOL
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:01 am (UTC)
Hmmmm, I could teach him hip-hop and he could teach me ballroom. Oh my, so much touching *_*
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:02 am (UTC)
I'd love to be able to dance ballroom. Looked so great in the movie. Made me wanna dance, too! :)
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:03 am (UTC)
I loved the Latin dancing, he could teach me that first ;D
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:04 am (UTC)
Even more touching than usual, I get it. ;)
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:05 am (UTC)
Well, perving on Stark aside, I did enjoy the Latin dancing for its intensity and just the way it makes the body move.

Now, perving on Stark considered, I think there would have to be paramedics on standby. For whom, I'm not really sure, but they'd be necessary nonetheless XD
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:09 am (UTC)
Paramedics, yes, good idea! LOL I was just reading something on Twitter, whether Alex might come to a convention in Britain or something. And I thought "omg, if he came to one here - I'd die a little death!". Good.ness. *thud* The thought alone!

And I could go on and on about that. *g*
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:13 am (UTC)
Sadly, the closest Alex will be to Texas (and me) in the foreseeable future is Louisiana (for TB) :C

My little fangirl dream is for American Idiot to go on tour (and take Stark with it) and stop in Dallas/Forth Worth (less than an hour's drive for me) or Austin (about two hours' drive). Screw the ticket price, I'd save up for that.
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:16 am (UTC)
At least they're both already in your country (although I'm aware that it's a big country LOL). But no one ever comes to Germany! Not the really good ones, anyway... (Ok, I could name a few that I met last year here, but I'd LOVE to have Alex here!)
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:20 am (UTC)
You'd think it would help that they're in the same country, but it really doesn't. There isn't a big showbiz scene in Texas (the closest that could count is the live music scene in Austin) so nothing big happens/comes here. Plus, college has left me so broke that New York (or California) may as well be another country.

*sighs* So, in a sense, I feel your pain.
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:25 am (UTC)
In Europe, a lot happens in England, but even that's kinda... well, not far in a sense, but it's an expensive country, so it's not that easy just traveling there.

So yeah, we're all in pain. *hugs* If the boys only knew how they could make it all better... ;)
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:32 am (UTC)
My sense of Europe was that most stuff happens in London and Paris (I've been to both, I'm going off memory here). Is Berlin the "happening" place in Germany? Because I went to Frankfurt and it didn't seem like a very active place.

But yeah, New York and California are almost as bad in terms of expense; the cost of living is ridiculous, cost of temporary living -- hotels, etc. -- is just obscene.

Alex is doing just fine in making up for it (movies, True Blood, etc.), but Stark is just killing me by being in non-traveling theater T_T
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:20 pm (UTC)
Yeah, a lot, or everything (movie premieres for example) in Germany happens in Berlin - but that's like 3-4 hours (by train, car longer) from where I live! :-\ Frankfurt is dead. :P It's the closest to me, with only 50 km but nothing interesting happens there. Typical.

I've never been to the US, although I'd LOVE to! I once thought of going to Dallas where Jensen Ackles did theater a few years ago, but the flight alone was 700 Euros, and yeah... :(
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:24 pm (UTC)
Theater in Dallas, you say?

Down, hopes, down I say! -_-
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:37 pm (UTC)

Fort Worth. Jensen Ackles did "A few good men" there in 2007.
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:38 pm (UTC)
I don't so much care about Jensen Ackles (I'm sure he's a nice guy and a good actor, he's just not on my radar), I was more pathetically hoping that a certain Stark-shaped person might get homesick someday and do theater in Dallas where I could actually afford to go watch T_T
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:40 pm (UTC)
Never lose hope. ;) I try not to either. LOL
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:42 pm (UTC)
Sigh. I always pick the worst actors to fangirl over in terms of stuff I can actually get out of it (they either don't do much at all or do way more theater than actual movies/TV). I think I have a masochistic streak or something.
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:01 pm (UTC)
haha I guess then I do too! I almost never fall for the well-known ones. But I like that. :)
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:08 pm (UTC)
Lol, Ikr? I sort of want Stark's fame to blow up because I want him to succeed (and I want to see him in more things), but at the same time I sort of don't 'cause it's more...unique? I don't know how to describe it.
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:22 pm (UTC)
Exactly! :D I experienced that with Zachary Quinto. I LOVE him ever since he started on Heroes, but then he wasn't that well-known but I kinda liked that. Gave me the feeling I had him only for myself. *g* And then he did Star Trek and suddenly EVERYONE knows him. That's great for him, of course, but I wouldn't have minded if he just stayed an actor on a tv show. ;)
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:27 pm (UTC)
On the other hand, more fame equals more people to squee over him with...so now I don't know what I want *flails*

*sighs* oh well. I think the picture speaks for itself:
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:31 pm (UTC)
I know what you mean... Oh! That's great! haha
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:32 pm (UTC)
Although the orange tie will always, always, always make me cringe. There should be laws against that sort of thing (I think he's been hanging around ASkars enough that the bad taste is catching XD)
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:33 pm (UTC)
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:34 pm (UTC)
It also lends credence to my Starsgard shipping -- they're starting to do that thing couples do where they match without trying :P
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:35 pm (UTC)
Cute. *g*
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:33 pm (UTC)
Cheers for Dawn of the Dead! ;D
Mar. 7th, 2010 09:39 pm (UTC)
hehe Yeah, it's pretty cool. And the first time, I mostly watched it for Kevin Zegers. He's so cute! :P
Mar. 8th, 2010 06:43 am (UTC)
So "Om Sara" it is. Yeah, i read the tweet. :)
Mar. 8th, 2010 03:24 pm (UTC)
Aaah! Alright! Even I haven't checked Twitter yet. ;)

Hunting movies?
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:00 pm (UTC)

Mar. 8th, 2010 04:21 pm (UTC)

Mar. 8th, 2010 04:32 pm (UTC)
Dann gute Besserung, Liebes. :)
Mar. 8th, 2010 04:33 pm (UTC)
Danke Dir.
