Writer's Block: Another sleepless night

Do you suffer from occasional or frequent insomnia? Do you have any special tricks or remedies? How does it impact your life?

I don't know if it's really insomnia or if it's just my sleeping pattern that's messed up, but I just can't sleep lately! It's crazy! I used to go to bed at around midnight, half past, at the latest, but for a few weeks now, the earliest is 2 am. Two nights ago, I was even awake at 5 am!!! Of course, then I sleep until noon and my whole day is like gone already. I hate it and I tried to change it. I set the alarm for 8 am - but I just couldn't get myself to get up! *sighs*

Maybe tonight it's different, as I'm already up like twelve hours and it's only early evening, but tomorrow, I guess I could easily stay awake again til 2 am or 3 even, and then everything starts from the beginning. :-\

I guess, maybe it's because I don't have a real schedule for the day anymore, with the whole no job situation and I have no hobbies that get me out of the house, so yeah... I guess there lies a big part of the problem.

Lol, I feel less alone in my craziness. I spent the last 3 weeks with the same sleeping pattern, only worse, meaning I'd sleep around 7 AM to wake up @ 3PM >_<

I thought my all-nighter on Monday would kick my ass in gear (that and waking up to go to uni) but I didn't have classes today and a dentist's appointment wasn't enough of a motivation to get out of bed, so I'm back where I used to be *sigh*

We'll see if the perspective of classes I desperately need to go to tomorrow morning will be enough :3

I totally hate it to miss half the day. The days and weeks fly by and I'm not doing anything useful. :-\
