Heaven is a place where people die pretty

Oy, I didn't update yesterday! So, I think I'll start with the meme first.

Day 19 → A talent of yours

Hm, a talent... I can remember a lot of useless stuff. LOL Well, to me it's interesting, but mostly to other people around me, not. But I like it. :)

Day 20 → A hobby of yours

Oh a hobby... well, you all know that I love to read, but besides that I also started to crochet again last year. I got nothing to show you so far, still in training so to speak. ;-) But yeah, it's nice, and I noticed real quick that it can also be very addictive. Once I started, I couldn't stop for some time, until I "finished" the "something". LOL

Day 21 → A recipe
Day 22 → A website
Day 23 → A YouTube video
Day 24 → Whatever tickles your fancy
Day 25 → Your day, in great detail
Day 26 → Your week, in great detail
Day 27 → This month, in great detail
Day 28 → This year, in great detail
Day 29 → Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days
Day 30 → Whatever tickles your fancy

Alright, first some annoying ibs stuff before I come to the good stuff from last night. *g*

So, yesterday, the chef of ibs had a talk with us, what we think how it will go on with finding a job and all. And she was a bit bitchy I thought, and kind of snobbish. To one of the group, who has a 2-year-old daughter, she said "I can guarantee you that you won't find a job in the next couple of years, because of your kid". I just thought, wtf? How can she say something like that? Isn't she supposed to support us, even if it's just mentally? You know, I mean, so that we don't lose hope in finding something new.

After that she asked me when I sent my last applications out and I said mid December. And she was like "omg, sooo long!! That's way too long! Two weeks tops and then you have to call the companies and ask what's what!", and I thought, is she nuts? I mean, it was right before Christmas, so I was sure that I wouldn't hear from any of them until maybe mid January. I told her that, but she insisted that I called them. Well, I did, and you know what? Almost all of my applications are still on, two said that they wanted to send me my stuff back because they don't need new employees at the moment, but the others said that I should wait at least one or two weeks more. So, exactly what I thought. BUT I had a really nice talk with a woman from a book/media store I sent an application to. She said she gave my papers to her boss and she'll meet with him next week to make a decision. She asked me about my education and if I'm interested in books and other media and hello! of course! haha And she mentioned that she doesn't care if I have any experience in the job, but that I love what I'm doing and that I'm having fun - exactly what I keep saying all.the.time!!! She wrote my name down again, and well, I don't want to jinx anything, but I have a good feeling that I'm getting at least an interview. That would be really nice, too. At least something that would give me the feeling not to lose hope, you know?

And today, the boss from ibs asked me again what I achieved since yesterday. Uh, hello? What can I possibly achieve in one day? She really think's that the whole world will turn in the next three days or what? *rolleyes* Just really, really annoying! I bet she'll ask again tomorrow!

But ok, morning became afternoon and I went home. Ate, took a shower and my brother drove me to Frankfurt to the Bobby Long concert!!! :-D We used a GPS to find the location but twice, my brother drove into a street too early. The GPS kept saying "turn around" but my brother believed he was right. LOL Well, then we wanted to ask someone on the street and now, there comes the fun part - a young woman walked by and I asked and she said "I'm going there too", so I jumped out of the car and went with her. She was really nice, my age, and I thought, finally I meet someone new and nice, but oh, she doesn't live here, she lives in Hamburg! Ah, too bad! She was just visiting her parents here. But what a coincidence that we met in a City as big as Frankfurt, in that street and that she was the one we asked for help! haha Great!

There was a guy on stage before Bobby came, and he was quite good, too. I bought his cd at the end of the evening, which he signed. The name probably won't ring a bell, I didn't know him before either - Tom Lüneburger ("Wie die Heide, nur ohne Heide" LOL). And then after half an hour - Bobby!!! *gg* First, I didn't realize that he had appeared, I wanted to write a text message on my cell, but then the kiddies (:P) started to squeak, I looked up and Bobby was just picking up his guitar and I stopped writing and was like "oh". LOL The first things he said were so cute already. He said, "Danke... uh, nein, Guten Abend", aw. haha And after every song he said "dankeschön" and at least twice he forgot the lyrics but we weren't mad, it was just really cute. *g* Then he even started talking French and I haven't heard such a cute "fuck" in a long time (when he forgot the text). *g* And gosh, he still does the hair flip thing. *eek* Even have that on video. hehe Unfortunately, he didn't sign cds and stuff later, he just vanished at the end, but I bought his studio cd anyway and a poster that he signed before. Happy Natascha.

The Vampire Diaries starts tonight on German tv!! Know these episodes already, but what the hell. ;-) New episodes tomorrow, as well as *eek* Supernatural!!! \o/

Aww Bobby! Great pics!! So much love for the guy, it's not even funny :) lol I'm glad he got rid of the face-scruff though, he was looking a little rough LOL Did he play any new stuff? I'm always jealous of the people at shows where he pulls out something totally new and awesome lol

Yeah, I don't know how I could've fallen for him so fast! I just happened!

I stood in like second row, so I got good pics. ;-)

I don't think he played any new stuff. I recognized all of it, I think... Otherwise, he also would've announced it, right? He didn't. ;-) But he kept talking about his time when he basically lived in a tree. LOL I was a bit confused, but it was nice listening to him talk all that nonsense. *g*

LOL He lived in a tree?!! I love the stories he comes out with in between songs, they're almost worth going to see a show all on their own ;) hehe Have you seen the video of the FML story? That one was the best!
Jan. 26th, 2010 12:15 pm (UTC)
I don't think I know that story. LOL

Oh it's the best!!!

And now that I've watched it again I'm giggling like a moron over here LOL :P

Omg!! LMAO!! Oh, yes, the best I've heard from him. LOL

haha Him drinking reminded me that he said last week, "I'll throw my guitar if you touch my bottle". Because I think the girls in the front were kinda eager to "steal" something he touched, or something. LOL

Ok, now I can't stop thinking FML FML... LOL
