I think we're all a little cursed

First of all - happy birthday ermynee224!!! Hope you have a great day!! :)

Only two weeks more until Justified season 2!! \o/ And my birthday. I think I'll start planning a little something on the weekend.

I'm kind of excited, although I'm sure I'll curse at the tv as soon as there's the first commercial break - because it will only be the first of at least 30 or something. *sighs* And then it's the same and the same again and again and again. *headdesk*

BUT to the point:

Best movie:

127 Hours
Black Swan
The Fighter
The Kids Are All Right
The King’s Speech
The Social Network
Toy Story 3
True Grit
Winter’s Bone

My opinion: I think it might be Black Swan or The King's Speech, as everybody is talking about the latter lately. I have to say, I don't know so much about The King's Speech and I'm not really interested in the story, so I haven't seen it yet, either.
I liked Black Swan and The Social Network. My favorite is Inception, though. That was simply mind-blowing!!!

Best actor in a leading role:

Javier Bardem – Biutiful
Jeff Bridges – True Grit
Jesse Eisenberg – The Social Network
Colin Firth – The King’s Speech
James Franco – 127 Hours

James Franco? Jesse Eisenberg? Hell yeah! I haven't seen James' 127 Hours, yet, but it's on my list, and I like Jesse since I watched Zombieland. I would want him to win not really for his role in The Social Network, but just because I like him. ;)
But it's kinda awesome to see a "small" actor, who hasn't done huge movies before, being even nominated!

Best actress in a leading role:

Annette Bening – The Kids Are All Right
Nicole Kidman – Rabbit Hole
Jennifer Lawrence – Winter’s Bone
Natalie Portman – Black Swan
Michelle Williams – Blue Valentine

I'm almost 100% sure that it's gonna be Natalie Portman. And yes, she was really great in Black Swan.

Best actor in a supporting role:

Christian Bale – The Fighter
John Hawkes – Winter’s Bone
Jeremy Renner – The Town – Stadt ohne Gnade
Mark Ruffalo – The Kids Are All Right
Geoffrey Rush – The King’s Speech

Mh, Christian Bale. *g* Haven't seen the movie, yet, though. And Jeremy Renner! I really wanted him to win last year, and that brings me to the point - again nominated for an Oscar! Two years in a row! That must be such an honor! AND Mark Ruffalo!! Again, the same as with Jesse Eisenberg. An actor who's very likable, but hadn't done HUGE movies before, so it's kinda surprising.

Reminds me of Dan Futterman who was nominated for Best Screenplay for Capote few years ago. I didn't know it before and only when I saw the show, I was like, "What? What??!! Holy crap!" Dan Futterman who I mostly knew from the tv show Judging Amy, wrote a screenplay AND was nominated for an Oscar! Shit! As in, awesome shit! :D

Best actress in a supporting role:

Amy Adams – The Fighter
Helena Bonham Carter – The King’s Speech
Melissa Leo – The Fighter
Hailee Steinfeld – True Grit
Jacki Weaver – Animal Kingdom

Don't know the movies, don't know 3/5 of these names. o.O

Also, Hans Zimmer for best score? Yes, please!!!

Also, The Event only returns in March?! MARCH! o.O Hell...

*sighs* Again, I could not stop myself from capping this Being Human episode a little. *g*

Voiceover and flashbacks - FTW! But oh my... Mark Pellegrino... that... hair! LMAO!

Aidan: I think we're all a little cursed.
Emily: Please... You're hot...
- Can't deny that! :P

Aidan: You too, Amityville. *g*

Aw, Josh telling his sister to leave him alone. Poor Josh. :-\

Damn... like 85% of the time, I just wanna jump Sam Witwer. The rest, I spend drooling over him. :P

Jump-and-drool picspam ahoy! :P LOL

Guh! Better pic of the tattoo! What is it?? Anyone??

Drool! Love the hair, btw!

ARMS! Definitely jumping here! *g*

Love that jacket!!

Don't you just wanna hug him?

Him, too. Although he is was the devil on Thursdays. *g*

Movie watched: The Poughkeepsie Tapes [Disturbing! So very, very disturbing.]
